Kuala Lumpur: Forest Eco Park

8, Jalan Raja Chulan, Bukit Kewangan, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Nature lovers, did you know there’s a rainforest right in the heart of KL city? You don’t have to travel all the way to the heartlands for one! Okay, so it’s not a fully fledged rainforest but it’s a good basic introduction to rainforest flora if you want one. Go for an easy walk along the trails with your family and friends, and explore the canopy walks. Entrance is free of charge!

Green city

You don’t have to venture far out of the city to experience nature. This hidden forest is in close proximity from KL Tower, a popular architectural landmark. This jungle has been around for more than a century, making it one of the oldest natural reserves in Malaysia.

Here, rustling leaves, insect choruses, and chirping from exotic birds drown out the chaos of the city. However, a few skyscrapers can still be seen from the vantage of the jungle, creating a beautiful visual contrast. This beautiful visual contrast can be captured from a variety of locations from the park.

The 200-meters-long canopy walk is an experience that lends itself well to photography. The suspended wooden trail offers a panoramic view that has to be seen to be believed.
